The one time on your stag weekend when you are officially allowed to pull.Clay pigeon shooting is otherwise known as clay target shooting and, we have to say, it’s one of our favourite activities. Now don’t get the wrong idea about us – it’s not in our nature to come over all ‘man the hunter’ and start developing the urge to shoot anything that moves, but there’s a unique feeling you get when you’re out shooting targets and you actually nail one. You'll get expert tuition and a practice session to get used to the feel of the shotgun and the skill involved in hitting those clays. After a short break you go into competition mode with clays flying from different angles. It will test your eye, your strength and your concentration. The Clays site is 20 minutes from the centre of Blackpool and the session lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours, depending on how many are in your party. This is a fantastic activity for those who've done it before and total novices.
