COVID-19 TRAVEL UPDATE Update: Thursday 18 June 2020
KEY POINTS - FULL DETAILS SHOWN BELOW We have taken the difficult decision to close our office for the foreseeable future. If you have a booking arriving in the next 3 weeks, your booking will be rescheduled for a date of your choice up until the end of 2021.
Obviously given the current situation, there is no rush to choose a new date, you can do so when you are ready.
All monies are safe and will be used for your rescheduled trip.
Please Note: Due to the volume of enquiries, we can only communicate with the GROUP LEADER.
If you have a booking more than 3 weeks away and have decided that you would like to reschedule you can email
firstname.lastname@example.org with your request to reschedule.
You do not need to choose a new date at this time (unless you have one in mind), you can select your new arrival date when you are ready to do so.
Your booking will simply be flagged as RESCHEDULED - DATE TO BE CONFIRMED.
Following the announcement by the government, regarding the current situation regarding the hospitality industry remaining closed until at least Saturday 4 July 2020, if your date of travel is within the next 3 weeks, your trip will be flagged as RESCHEDULED - DATE TO BE CONFIRMED.. You do not need to select a new arrival date straight away, you can inform us when you have made a decision on a new date.
If your stay is more than 3 weeks away, please use this page to keep abreast of the latest developments. Obviously, things are uncertain and the lockdown may be extended further, so we will continue to reschedule stays with each passing week.
If you have already decided that you would like to reschedule as a large number of customers already have. Simply email us at email@example.com with your request to reschedule. You do not need to choose a new date at this time (unless you have one in mind), you can select your new arrival date when you are ready to do so. YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Can I call you to discuss my travel arrangements? We have taken the decision to temporarily suspend our inbound calls to allow us to focus on the task of contacting those with imminent travel plans.
Is my money safe? Yes. Your money is safe and will be used towards your rescheduled trip if necessary.
How far in the future can I reschedule my trip for? You credit would be valid for any weekend in 2020 or 2021, if your orginal trip cannot go ahead.
What is the earliest date that I could travel if my trip needed to be rescheduled? Obviously given the ever-changing situation and government advice, we are not in a position to guarantee specific dates when you can reschedule your trip for.
We are monitoring the daily government briefings. In the event that you chosen rescheduled date is unavailable due to the continuation of coronavirus restrictions, we will of course reschedule again at no extra cost.
Q: What if I’m unsure about going on my trip or plan to self-isolate
If advised by Group Leaders that a member/members of their group are in self isolation or have chosen not to travel, then the group leader may choose to:
a) Proceed with their trip without those members (no refund will be given to non-travellers and they are advised to contact their travel insurance company)
b) Change the date of the booking, free of charge, so the group can travel together as planned at a later date.
